More than three centuries after John Milton wrote Paradise Lost … Over one century after Thomas Edison invented the moving picture … ... the two phenomena will meet for the first time. Paradise Lost will become a movie. Until now Hollywood’s megabucks have shunned this project, probably partly because, until the recent computer animation explosion, depicting Milton's spectacular imagery, such as his battling angels, would not have been possible.
